Tres Bien/ Oi Polloi Free Shipping - APC Raw Jeans $127 Shipped

60
tresbienweekend

Tres Bien free economy shipping (usually 12€) via FedEx; 3-7 working days delivery.

They sell designer labels at very good prices. Supposed to end August 19 so we should get at least an extra half day.

The best value is the APC raw jeans at $127; they best pair of jeans you will ever own. They come in 3 varieties:
New standard: Like Slim straight; mild taper
Petit standard: Skinny; large taper
Petit new standard: Slightly skinny but not too much (in between NS and PS)
http://www.tresbienshop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=apc+raw+

They are vanity sized and will stretch heavily so makes sure to size down 1-3 sizes (the skinnier jeans you buy the more you should downsize).

Oi Polloi also has a free shipping via DHL (usually £17.50; 4-7 working days) for orders over £30: Shipshape

Their APC jeans are more expensive but they do have clothes that Tres Bien doesn't stock. Unsure then it ends but I assume the end of the weekend.

hmmm not sure what APC NS size to get if im a true 30….28 or 29?

TTS I'm a 29 and am currently wearing 28 Nudie Thin Finns. A few people reported that the waist sizing for NS/PS was one less than Nudies (even more vanity sizing plus the fact that they'll stretch quite a bit with wear), so in my case it'd be two sizes down from TTS.

Which is a shame, really, they only stock 28 and when I tried them on the fit was way too loose for me. If you end up ordering them, I hope they fit (and that my advice isn't wrong… heh) :D

On another note, this is a good price for APCs, especially for us in Aust. Cheers OP.

I'm a true 31 and I wear APC PS 29. So 28 will probably fit you, might even be able to go to 27 if you want a slimmer fit. Check measurements at context:

  • Not having a dig or anything, but what's the big deal with this online store? Just a noob trying to understand fashion. They've got great testimonials under About Us.

    • moderate-high end brands you won't find easily in australia, for decent prices. kinda like incu, but cheaper. when tbs has a sale, usually the site goes down - guess that's a testament to how good their sales are (or how bad their servers are).

personally i still think it's expensive.

considering nudies are around this price as well, and A.P.C are much tougher and essentially better raw denim, I would get these to last 30+ years

        • mine last like … 2 years tops. 30 hyperbolic years maybe!

        • depends upon how often you wash them

        • +1

Pretty much. For those who don't know, you shouldn't wash raw jeans for at least 6 months (some don't wash them at all) but even then you should still only soak them inside out. Otherwise to get rid of smells you can put them in the freezer.

        • For those who don't know, the idea behind not washing them are if you want fully sick fades lol

Does the freezing method actually work? Wouldn't the bacteria start producing odour again once it has warmed up again? My friend bought a can of Mr. Black Denim Refresh which apparently disinfects it, but I don't know whether it actually works or just masks the smell.

the sun works better; wouldn't want 1yr unwashed jeans in my freezer anyway!

        • febreze and steam from iron? maybe

you gotta break them in as well. They will be ultra-stiff for the first two weeks, but later they start to soften up. Just remember not to wash them until at least 6 months after you got them
