          do you need to pay with the westpac card (e.g. debit card) on ebay checkout page
          or can the debit card be linked to paypal and pay via paypal?

            @pinkybrain: I used the card directly at the checkout page. Cannot confirm if PayPal would work since I've never tried sorry.

              is it normally total discount 2.5% (ebay electronics purchases 0.5% + westpac 2.0 %) ?

                Yes that's correct, it's on top of whatever the normal amount is. However if the base amount is $0 (excluded categories, coupon codes etc..) then the bonus 2% will also not be awarded.
