If I am looking to spend $2350-$2500 absolute max, is the Asus ROG Strix G16 at Centrecom a good buy? Are there any other laptops that would be better for the same / lower price? Weight and battery life aren't huge priorities. The laptop will be used purely for gaming. I feel out of my depth trying to compare all the specs! Thank you!

Seems decent, I think you'll have a good time with it. Being honest, I'm not sure how the 4060 mobile GPU performs at that display resolution but I think you'll be ok. What games do you play?
