Help Me Choose between Mitsubishi or LG Fridge

Which fridge would you go for as they both around same price on discount ~$1700 mark:

I hear Mitsubishi is Ozbargains favourite but I don't know if it applies to all Mitsubishi fridges or just their French door ones.
Having a baby soon so looking for the fridge to grow with the family - I think 450L should be large enough.

    Can only speak to the Mitsubishi. We've had our for about 3 years and I noticed a split on one of the seals the other day. A quick call to Mitsubishi and they are sending someone out to replace it.

    why these two specific models, also bottom freezer is much more inefficient and uses considerable more energy

    remember hot air rises, and cold air falls, so top freezer, mean the cold air naturally falls into the fridge section where as the bottom freezer needs to be forced

      It's a small price to pay to have easy access to the fridge.

      Perhaps reduced food waste from having the more perishables section at eye height to see and use what's at the back of the shelf. The energy of food production and transport vs loss in efficiency ( unless the design better isolates the fridge and freezer. From a top freezer design?)

    We've had our LG french door fridge for over 10 years and it still functions perfectly.
