New Micro SD Card Not Detected

Hi Guys,

I bought a new Samsung 128GB EVO Plus Micro SD Memory Card from Amazon. I've tried plugging it into my phone and it's not recognised. I have also plugged it into my laptop with the adapter that came with it and it's also not recognised. I have tried another SD card and the same happens. I have tried two other SD cards in my phone, card adapter and card reader and they all work fine.

Is there something else I can try to get this new card to work or is it just dead?

Got my new Miyoo Mini Plus today and was hoping to install Onion on it.

Thank you.

If multiple devices don't see the SD card then you have a DOA product.

    • grrr that's no good, I really ripped the packet up trying to get into it too.

they sure are a pain to open those packets!

        • I've done a couple of returns recently with Amazon, hope they don't think I am lying about this stuff. Will give them a try.

Still returnable, even if packet is basically destroyed. Amazon have a 30 day return, so as long as you're still in that window, I'd be suggesting contacting Amazon

Was the product sold by Amazon? It'll be easy refund if it is.

    • Yes, I did the return online now I just have to send it back. They'll get a shock when they receive it.

  • Hmm.. for Miyoo, the sd card has to be formatted to FAT32 for it to be recognised

    • That's what I was trying to do but I didn't even plug it into the Miyoo yet as the laptop and phone wouldn't detect it.
