Reccomened Me a Bit Driver Screwdriver with Storage

Well on my bike I'm wanting to keep a screwdriver and I'd likely need 8 bits so would like storage in the handle.

I need t20,t25,t40, slotted, ph2, ph3, micro Phillips and likely another small torx.

So a off the shelf unit won't work. Nor do I want some crap that breaks.

Also may consider a pocket knife or other tool that acts as bit holder.

Also any reccomened brands.

At the moment I carry a kingchrome driver and there 30 or so bit kit.

  • Have you considered a bike multi-tool?

Crank Brothers and Topeak are good brands.

iFixit stuff is good. They used to pop up on here now and then, but not for a while now

  • Sorry it's for a motorcycle. I've snapped a few cheaper bits so I'd rather not have multi and have replaceable bits.

Also done stuff is damm closed to seized.

Motorcycles don’t end to use a lot of torx bits, mostly Allen head and Phillips. The stuff that “might” have torx heads is usually the keep out stuff.

Anyway, get yourself something like a Wiha 26 in 1 driver or any of those screwdrivers with the storage in the handle. You can put in bits you need and take out the ones you dont.

Is this for emergency stuff or for working on your bike at home? If you want an emergency kit, then you are better off working out what you need in an emergency and just buying that. A few spanners, 1/4 drive stuff and a few screw drivers.

I work on motorcycles all the time, and there is not many tools you need to fix them.

      • Harley is torx everything. It's mainly for emergencys

  • I carry one of these with me - comes in handy without taking up too much space.

  • Linus Tech Tips Screwdriver

I've never seen one IRL, let alone tried it, so I have no idea if it's any good. But apparently there is no conflict of interest for Linus to recommend Framework laptops hwhile having an ownership stake so I'm sure it's fine. you can getem replacement bits as well
