Amazon price matching if anyone got gift cards etc.

From what I remember the retail is quite inflated, I also think ozbargain at this pricepoint much prefers Vitamix over breville due to its longevitiy. Regardless good deal!

How tf can a Breville blender sell for $800

      Explains the RRP

    • Good catch. I just copy pasted from the description on the page. Should be 2400W obviously.

  • I’m really keen for a decent blender to mainly make smoothies etc, they don’t seem to come on sale often, happy to pay for a decent one, but $400! is this what I should be paying???

I know, it seems like a lot, but I have gone through 2 ~$100 ones in 2 years, so I think to get something with longevity you do have to spend a bit.

I haven't heard much about this one, but for that sort of money I would be looking at a Vitamix or even an optimum.

    • I would definitely recommend high end breville blenders, although i have experience with
the boss" model. I have found it's on par with the vitamix in terms of blending performance and the types of things you can do with it. Keep in mind that these high powered blenders are a completely different product category to things like the Ninja or nutribullet. 2 big tests that really illustrate this involve berry/green smoothies, if you make it with your ninja, you will have seeds and bits of grit or chunks of green in it, if you use a vitamix or one of these, it will be a perfectly smooth and homogenous colour and texture, its genuinely another level.

I have bought a few of these in the past for family and friends and never had a problem. I paid $350 for the slightly older model (called "The Boss Blender" which is on sale at JB for the same price, i'd go with that)

    • I went through a few low end Breville blenders before I bought my Vitamix. The high end ones are more reliable and they blend everything including seeds. I don’t need to remove the skins and deseed my tomatoes before blending my tomatoes for spaghetti sauces.

  • Upon further review, it appears this is NOT The Super Q, it's just The Q. Myer have it mislabeled. Which is disappointing. Still a deal, just not quite as good

I noticed this too, I almost pulled the plug until I saw the model number was BBL820 and not BBL920 which is the Super Q.
The Amazon priced match version has it named correctly and is still the BBL820 model.

    • I thought it was cheap for the SuperQ. I’m sure I paid >$800 for mine.

  • Expired? Still works for me.

  • +1

I've got the Super Q with the large and small jug. Works very well, blends anything. Gets used every day and still looks new. Some blender jugs the measuring numbers fade off the side. This one hasnt yet and its been used almost every day for over 2 years.
Yes it wasnt a cheap blender but it was well worth it for me.

  • My order just got canceled by Myer. 🤣
