Hello all! Obligatory reminder, the game will be buggy and preorders are frowned upon by many.
Anyway, I saw this was actually a deal and is ending very soon, in around 18~ hours, so I thought I might as well let everyone interested know about it. There's two official key resellers selling this edition for $2~ less, but they charge in USD, thus it may end up more dependant on the exchange rate for you. Just before pasting out some of the game details, I would like to mention that if this is your first purchase on Green Man Gaming, you can save $3.35 using Cash Rewards, minor but it's something. Otherwise, the standard rate is 1.4% being a total of $1.34 saved, steal!

      I agree, due to the failure of Fallout 76, but I fell victim to the preorder myself for Starfield….. I couldn't resist, I was too weak! 😔 Better option was probably to play on Xbox game pass for PC, and decide if it's stable enough.

          Some titles at least on PC / Steam have 20% pre-order discounts , if your brave enough to deal with day 1 issues.
          As sales on some titles don't appear for a year or more when the inevitable DLC arrives and they need to promote.

      Agree. So many preorder games in the past have been a failure, like Fallout 76. However I recently just started playing Fallout 76, almost 4 years since launch, the game is a lot improved and polished now. So yeah, no preorder games for me until it has been cleaned up and bugs sorted.

      I highly doubt it'll run on the Steam Deck smoothly at reasonable graphics. Graphics seem quite intense sadly. If we go by the listed minimum specifications, the Steam Deck doesn't meet the CPU and GPU department by quite a large margin. But here's hoping somehow it runs!

      It will be on Gamepass for PC, you can actually 'pre-install' it now but gamepass games don't support mods (outside of the console supported ones in Fallout 4 and Skyrim).

        Yeah well I got a gaming PC with a GTX 1080 and a series x. Will be a toss up on what runs it better… 4k 30fps or 2560 x 1080 at ???.

          Well look at that, it appears they changed that sometime last year but it doesn't work for every game. Also some modders were saying they wouldn't provide support for the gamepass version because of compatibility issues.

          Up until recently all games from gamepass were installed into the WindowsApp folder which isn't really accessible by the users, and trying to break into it would just break the game. They now allow games to be installed into custom locations which can be modded.

      Yeah, sadly that is the case. But I wouldn't say consoles suck, they're running at 4K 30FPS and according to the developers, they could hit 60 FPS but it was too inconsistent to target that apparently. But yeah, PC will be likely 120 FPS with the correct hardware.
