this has been the price for weeks

If the camels are anything to go by, it's been more expensive at this price for 2 months.

Think it's been the same price since this deal

    • Das it mane.

    • Could this run a LG neochef 42L 1200w? The LG cord is half the length of the Old Sharp one it replaced. I'd keep max load under what's listed

Powerboards are rated at like 10A/2400W so yes

    • Thanks - ordered! This was the better option and great price.

    • 175J is hardly anything. If you want decent surge protection then get this one:

      • No don’t buy them. They have an absolutely terrible reputation for build quality on here.

    • showing $11.10 now

If I plug a non-surge protected power-board in a surge protected one - will everything on both boards be protected?

    • +2

Yes, i believe it should. Because it will go through surge protected board first. But don't forget all surge protected boards have a limit.

    • +15

Best to daisy chain 3 or 4 surge protected power boards together before connecting the non surge protected one. Just to be safe.

      • +7

To be very safe you can daisy chain all the boards to one that is disconnected from the main.

        • +2

yep, and to be extra safe, connect this last board in the chain to the first one instead so that you have daisy chain in loop.

        Ahh the Heymix approach

      • +1

I read that this is not advisable

    • +6

Don’t daisy chain power boards 🤦‍♂️

      • +1

Definitely don't chain more than three.

  • I have several of these. They're good for the price however the sockets aren't that well made and require force at times. If you plan on plugging and unplugging things regularly I wouldn't recommend them

  • +1

    Same price at Bunnings.

  • no surge protection . not individually switched . pass

  • Speaking of power boards (and extension leads too), anyone know of one that has an extremely low profile and can be as flat as possible being plugged in to the wall? I have like 4 power points at the apartment that need furniture in front of them and flat against the wall, but most power boards or extension leads that don't stick out are still relatively bulky. Something like this would be awesome.
