i got the B from jbhifi few weeks ago, ended up returning it cause wireless speakers/sub lost connection and couldnt get it to connect again
Did you update the software? My cousin has the B and it properly thumps. I have the Q800B and it’s pretty damn good if you don’t have space for the satellites. There should be some stock floating around
yea latest firmware, i followed the steps and searched online. went to JB and the guy also tried to connect for 30mins. ended up full refund but its a shame cause i got it for 699, didnt want to take the risk on another one.
B series is 2022 model

What's this like compared to the 990?
I've got a 990b and my brother has a 930b. For me, the main difference is the subwoofer quality, where the 990 is a lot deeper and handles different frequencies better. If bass isn't a massive deal for you though, the 930 is better value in my opinion.
Do these integrate well with an LG OLED or is it better to get an LG branded Soundbar? Want all the bells and whistles if possible.
Using a similar setup (I think the 800 series) and works perfectly with 65" C1. Just use HDMI ARC
Sorry is that 800 series LG or Samsung? I saw a lot of options in the LG menu for LG Soundbars it seems, just wasn’t sure if those options would be better to integrate with the same brand of if it’s just gimmicky stuff I won’t miss.
Just get the Samsung, I have the LG soundbar SN11RG with LG CX its good combination but the sound on the soundbar is not as powerful as the Samsung.
@AirJordan23: Yeah that's kind of where I am at the moment. So there is nothing integration wise with the LG Soundbar you noticed could be missed with another brand?
@zubzub: I think just the Google aspect of it. But sound quality I’ll go with Samsung. I had the Samsung first and decided to return it because I want to have seamless integration of the LG CX anf LG soundbar. After that I was disappointed with the sound quality of LG
Time to be frugal, save your money next 2 years until prices settle!
This is a good sound bar. I got the b and I'm pretty happy with it. Can't complain.
