My partner and I had our old TV die earlier this year. Around that time, I had noticed that the A80J was getting down to the $1250 odd mark. Unfortunately the timing didn't work for us to get one, and we thought we might have a shot at picking one up during EOFY sales.
It seems like stock is very low, for example, it seems life JB hifi doesn't even stock it any more.
Given that we might have missed the boat, is there a TV with as much value for money in roughly the same price range?
Would much prefer to stick with a better brand like Sony or LG given that my previous one was a Hisense and we had all kinds of quality issues.
Assuming you're after an OLED tv like the A80J, the A80K is the most similar but priced at ~$2,300. It may be some time before we even see it discounted to even close as that $1,250 deal for the A80J earlier this year.
Unfortunately, if you're looking for an 55' OLED then you're going to be hard pressed to find one as cheap as that A80J deal ATM which is why it was such a great deal.
