Can anyone suggest me a good gaming laptop under $1000? I can't increase a single penny.

Does it really need to be a laptop?
For $1k, you could buy a used SFF PC, GPU, and have change for a decent used non-gaming laptop.

  • What games are you trying to play?

  • Used - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334888713522 - there's also a Gigabyte Laptop but there's all these stickers, might wanna negotiate with seller of removing the stickers - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/325688473203

  • Merged from MSI Katana GF66 12UC-692AU 15.6" Core i5 Notebook Win 11

I want to buy MSI Katana GF66 12UC-692AU 15.6" Core i5 Notebook Win 11, rtx 3050 from Computer Alliance . The price is around $920. What do you guys think, is it a good deal or there are better laptops in this budget?

    • Seems reasonable given 3050 is not that strong. Depends on what do you use the laptop for?

      • For uni and Normal gaming. Not a heavy gamer

As someone else asked, what games you trying to play? you might be wasting your time.

  • I am also looking for a budget gaming laptop around the $800 to $1,000 mark - what's the opinion on this https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/infinity-e…

At that price point you're probably better off going used… there are 2070MQ laptops from better brands (eg Razer) in that range.

(full disclosure: I'm currently in process of formatting my Blade 15 and intend to sell it around that price point too)
