Must be a member, but it is free to join. The sale only runs for 2 days. In store, and store stock only.

I am not familiar with the generators or the Chicane tools, but the discounts look compelling.

I own the VF3600P pressure washer and IMO this is a very good price for the unit.

It compares very favourably to entry level Karcher, and the full boar unit sold at Bunnings. As it comes with higher PSI, flow rate, AR branded triplex pump, 10m steel braided hose compared to shorter plastic hose.
Everything feels to be fairly decent quality. I think spec wise, it is more comparable to units twice the price.

Don't know why the banner says lifetime warranty, because it has 2 year warranty…
Pro tip if you buy the pressure washer, buy oil as it comes dry. https://autobarn.com.au/ab/Autobarn-Category/Shop-our-Full-R…

If you have any questions about the pressure washer, I'll try to answer.

    Good price

  • 8hp , looks good. Where does it state lifetime warranty. I will screen shot it before buying.
    Cheers

    • If you click the sale link, it's to the right of the Vyking force logo.

But it in the description, clearly states 2 years warranty
        Website also says 2 years

      • Thanks

    • I have one ordered, thanks for the heads up

  • Never heard of the Vyking brand.

Are they a copy or rebadge of something else?

What are they like and is spare parts available?

    • +1

I'm not entirely sure what the deal is with the Vyking brand, as it seems to be pretty much just sold by autobarn and associated stores. I dont think its a straight rebrand as I've not seen a straight up identical model, more likely they source the parts and then put them together.
The frame looks identical to jet usa models probably made in china. The pump is bought from AR i think they are made in Italy. Not sure about the motor or accessories, probably made in china.
Not sure about the spare part situation. As these petrol pressure washers are just a collection of parts bolted together on a trolley, if anything goes wrong with it out of warranty, you can just just replace the faulty parts with whatever you can find that fits.

  • How long is the hose? And what's the difference compared to Bunnings full Boar? This has no reviews

    • If the specs can be believed, this one is more powerful and a lot louder. Neither of them come with a turbo nozzle so that's a letdown.

    • If you read the specs, you will see the Vyking is better in every way. I do not have the full boar, so I am just looking at specs and reviews.
The main differences I want to point out are:
Full Boar, 1 year warranty, rubber?? hose (reviews state that it splits), AR axial brass pump.

Vyking force, 2 year warranty, steel braided hose, AR triplex brass ceramic pump (look up the differences, but basically its a better, more expensive, longer life pump design).
And you also get slightly uprated engine hp, pressure and flow rate.

Some review states that the full boar falls apart when used frequently. I cant comment on the durability of the Vyking force, but even if that's also the case with Vyking force, at least the warranty is longer.

Edit: the hose is 10m for both units.

      • Good to know. I've been looking for a powerful pressure washer and was thinking of getting the Bunnings one mainly due to reviews. Did you buy a patio head extension for cleaning concrete?

        • I haven't yet. Looking into buying one soon.

          • @Yub: Mind sharing which one you have in mind? I was looking for the trolley looking one which is easy to handle instead of the stick type

            • @Pcosmic: I have not looked into it yet.

  • PSA: if you buy one of these, read the manual. You can unintentionally damage the unit if it's not used correctly.
