I mean maybe.. but I would expect most people are buying triple sec to make cocktails, in which case, it's only a minor component and as long as it tastes as good as Cointreau, the abv doesn't really matter

It certainly doesn't taste as good as Cointreau. In fact, Cointreau in general tastes a bit difference to the standard triple sec flavour.
But at this price, what a bargain. If you're making cocktails at home, the vast majority wouldn't take noticeably worse IMO.

Bought a couple of bottles of the Triple Sec. Tried a small amount on vanilla ice-cream as I often do with Cointreau. I was OK with the flavour. At the price of $10 for 500mL this is decent value.
Anyone know if coles/liquorland will be restocking this brand of triple sec? They don't seem to have any other brands of triple sec in stock. Do they expect people to buy cointreau from now on?
