Hey guys,
I am in NZ working now (I got a job already, only been back a month!) and have the return leg of my flight I booked back coming up next Friday. My plan is to book a flight back to NZ for the Sunday 2nd and go for the weekend, and not tell my girlfriend about it and surprise her. Unfortunately all the flights I can find are around $400-$500 NZD and I simply can't afford it, that is twice the amount of the whole return trip I booked last time.
Anyone know of any deals coming up next week or currently active? Any friends/relatives that work for a travel agent?
The ironic bit is that my new job is providing support for the software that is used most by travel agents around the world, but that doesn't help me at all.
Is there anything anyone knows about? Please!

My advice find a family member with frequent flyer points there still seem to be flights for that date at 18,000 points a person
