Another excellent value deal on Japanese skincare from Amazon Japan. Please select the option with 2 bottles and 2 samples.

This is a very popular 'lotion' (which means hydrating toner for Japanese products) that known for its hydrating properties. The bottle is big enough that you can use it on your body as well as your face. The formula is based on fermented rice and has is said to smell of sake, which may bother some. Other ingredients include amino acids, ceramides and arbutin. I haven't tried this myself but there are plenty of reviews on the internet.

Rakuten's price for the double pack is 1980 yen. Cosme Japan lists one bottle for 990 yen. Australian retailers are charging around $20 for one bottle.

Actually purchased this while in Japan while looking for a toner lol. It had good reviews so we got it. I think it cost around $8 then. I did find it locally being sold at daiso but costs around $13 per 500ml bottle so this is a good deal.

    • From experience, how would you rate the smell?

I have the white one which is more moisturising apparently. Smelling it now, there actually isnt a strong or bad smell at all. It smells like watered down gummi bear lol.

        • Cheers! So the one you've got is not the same as the one posted here?

Do you mean the transparent one? That's lighter than the one in this deal, which is 'high moist'. The one posted is more moisturising.

          • @moocher: Yup the high moist is what I have sorry. The use of words are confusing haha

            • @ozchobie: Ah ok so you have the same one as this deal. Thanks for clarifying!

If you want maximum hydration from hyaluronic acid and no fragrance, get the Gokujyun premium. You've missed the best price though.

If you want general hydration and brightening, then this one.

    • I use both

    • Yeah good review on that too. Good for anti-aging properties. I did read some people use them together.

Hyaluronic Acid is one of the cheapest skin care ingredients in the market. Just buy pure HA from The Ordinary and add it to any skin care product for the same effect.

  • I would prefer the drinking type. Any in the know for a good deal?

  • Amazon JP's price is 1597 yen https://www.amazon.co.jp//dp/B095WV84SL

    Not a deal.

    • Out of stock, but if there's a way to get that shipped to Australia for free, I'm all ears

  • I just got it still in stock
