Releasing October 20th, 2023

Pretty pricey game, but better than the EB Games and digital price of $124.95 by a lot. Also available at JB HiFi with an additional preorder bonus of some extra skins.

Adding that Amazon and JB HiFi both have preorder price garauntee, so if they drop it to anything lower before release you'll get it for they price.

Amazon requires no deposit for preorder, and you're only charged at time of release. JB HiFi requires full payment up front.

  Honestly though this is RRP, if all prices were based on EB games everything would be a deal.

  Amazon, BIG W, JB, Harvey Norman all around $99. So basically every retailer but EB Games

    RRP and what retailers sell a game for are often completely different. RRP is a recommendation.

    $124.99 is Sony's officially set RRP for their in-house published video games in Australia, and has been since the start of this gen. You can argue, but that's a fact.

    Also, it's not just EB. Sony's own store too, which is actually where most sales come from these days as it's convenient. I don't personally know anyone but myself that goes out and buys a cheaper disc at retail.

    $99 is still tough to swallow after paying $69-79 for so long, but it's still a deal as it's below RRP.

  Have we been spoiled seeing stuff like ToTK and FF16 around the $69-75 mark?
  This still seems insanely expensive to me and not even close to a good deal :/

    That's what I've done, costs nothing to preorder and if they have a price error or something and it ends up $20+ cheaper than anywhere else I'll keep it. If not I'll cancel a few days previous and preorder at JB or somewhere else local to save waiting on delivery.
