Another quest just dropped on the Coinbase Wallet app. Click on “Explore” at the bottom of the app, and then click on the tab under “Quests” and you should see this new quest on the next page in the app (see screenshot in deal link).
This quest involves minting an NFT on the Optimism blockchain. The NFT is provided by a platform called Manifold. It costs a total of ~US$2 to mint the NFT and to pay for gas fees, paid in Ethereum tokens (on the Optimism blockchain) (see screeshot). After minting the NFT, you will immediately be dropped into your Coinbase Wallet the US$10 worth of Optimism tokens (on the Optimism blockchain). So a net profit of ~US$8.
Note:
If you don’t have Ethereum tokens (on the Optimism blockchain) in your Coinbase Wallet to pay the ~US$2, you will of course need to transfer some Ethereum tokens (on the Optimism blockchain) into your Coinbase Wallet first, and pay a small fee for the transfer fee (it’s less US$1 per transfer on the Optimism blockchain).
Bonus:
At the top of the “Explore” page in the app (see screenshot), you can also mint 3 NFTs on the Polygon blockchain, for completely free! (there’s no gas fees either!).
