Mobile users could try browser code

  1. Go to Steam Store Page and Login

  2. On your URL Link part manually type javascript: then copy paste
    AddFreeLicense(893476)

  3. If it shows "undefined has been added to your account." then you're done.

    For those playing from work (or somewhere without Steam installed) you use a modified version of the Mobile users procedure in the OP above. Credit to @HomeAlone:

    PC users can also use the AddFreeLicense method via web console

    • Go to https://store.steampowered.com and make sure you're signed in
    • Open web console:
      • Control+Shift+J for Chrome, Chromium and Chromium based browsers like Edge/Brave
      • Control+Shift+K for Firefox (note: mine is Control+Shift+I for some reason)
    • Copy and paste the below command/s into the web console and hit enter:
      • AddFreeLicense(893476)

    Steam client install method worked fine. The racing view is a little bit hard to get used to but a coupla races , a fun game, and supports hosting for friends racing.

      Yeah, didnt work for me either. Had to add game via PC.
      Really would be good to find a way to add free games via mobile 🙏
