Does anyone know how to spend the least amount of money to meet the requirement of the spend & save requirement for westpac life to gain the bonus interest ?

Split pay at self checkout at Coles or Woolies..
Trend to find Coles terminals easier as Woolies can sometimes default to card payment in full and goes by full dollar inputs
Will doing 1c payment 5 times work?
Agree with Unorthodox's comment, and that Coles is generally better place to do this.
However Coles only allows you split payment into 3. (i guess technically this is split twice as you get 3 payments). Screen automatically pushes balance of first two lots into a third payment when doing on card-only self-checkout.
I've never tried 1c split payment or anything really below $1. Just divide it by 3I've managed to do multiple (+3) but if you're using a phone it will often prompt you to re-unlock.
I usually do random values ranging up to $2 as a few people in the ING thread have been caught out on repeat 1c transactions
Just pay with Zip, repayments on your card. I no longer do that instore 1 cent transactions. Its too much effort, so much easier online 5x $1 payments

Change banks to a higher interest rate and no hoops. I’m pretty sure Westpac has one of the lower interest rates.
