how does this work? For the $50 voucher you get all these mini vouchers that can you use at any point during the promotional period?

    • +4

yes, you pay for it online and then go into Melbourne Central and they give you the tote bag filled with individual vouchers that you can use during the promotional period.

  • Can I put all the ticket under 1 name?

  • +1

Do you have to use all the vouchers on the same day?

Yes… Please also film it and put it on Youtube for posterity.

Where does it say this requirement?

Didn't see it on the page or in the Ts & Cs…

    • +2

I can't see any requirements for the vouchers.

Im going to Melbourne soon for a holiday, what is this about?

    • +4

From my findings on the internet, Melbourne Central is a upside-down cone-shaped shopping centre comprising of a multi-level department store named Diamaru.

There is a building inside the tower called 'The Coop’s Shot Tower' and it was built in 1889. During construction, the old lady who lived in it refused to sell, and so the shopping centre was built around her home, which was an odd site to see when you were shopping amongst the many varied stores.

The deal seems to be trying to lure people into Melbourne Central as tenants have reported lower sales. People have somewhat abandoned the CBD due to the progression of homeless people, a man who walks around showing his 'carrot' to everyone, and a lady with a water bottle glued to her head.

of a multi-level department store named Diamaru.

        That closed 20 years ago.

        • +1

Wow, you are right… Also, interestingly, early work on the site started in 1971, and it opened 20 years later. That's commitment.

Not bhed. Gonna get 2 to bring a date.

    • +4

Take your date but encourage them to buy things at certain stores, then take their cash to pay for it, but pay with a voucher…

Also, go halvies for parking… etc

  • +2

    Why is this marked expired?

Also, safe to assume any unused vouchers can be used on another day anytime during the offer period?

  • So can anyone use the actual vouchers, or does it have to be the actual ticket holder that gets the stuff? (I know it has to be the ticket holder that picks up the vouchers)

Great deal. Only dilemma is actually getting into the CBD. Great for those who live in the city though.

  • sold out :(

  • +1

With the number of mice scurrying around Melbourne Central I would probably suggest against eating there

    • +1

To be fair, every shopping centre has a mouse/rat problem. It would actually be shocking if there were no mice/rats.

    • It shows “sold out” once you go to cart.

But please do share a link that allows you to check out, those of us who missed out would really appreciate it.

      • Sorry, you are right… Hate to have given false hope, 1000 sold out quick…

  • Just collected mine today. Make sure you check your bag contents before you leave, as mine didn't have the karaoke voucher. The CSR found one for me after letting him know though.

    • Do the vouchers have any BS conditions applied like must buy a main meal etc?

      • +1

No, not that I noticed. I was surprised the bowling voucher was only for one person though. Technically, you can only use it by booking online, but they seemed fine with me just surrendering it in person.

Went today. The dumpling one has a requirement of another meal purchase. So we didnt bother with that one. The rest were all totally free and prerty great really. The parking alone was going to be $40.

          • +1

@stumo: Ugh that dumpling place has always been stingy. Glad the rest were good!

            • +1

@itsfree: The only other one I was dubious about was pankake parlour. And true to form they delivered on their stingyness…

              • 1x Single Stack from The Pancake Parlour, valued at $10

How can you have a "stack" of one item?

How much extra would it have cost them to slap a 2nd pancake on there? its probably adding 20c cost to the whole dish.
