Newborn Photographer Recommendations: Melbourne

Looking for a good photographer that has props.
Also wanting to have all raw images (I know not many would offer this)
Also happy to try interns.
Or if I should DIY, suggest some links to props, resources for a website for poses. Have an iPhone Pro.

Hard to find a good photographer at that age - can't hold up their head.

    Waste of money

    • Why so? New born is a precious time in your and bubs life and you can't go back in time to capture that. Sure you can do it cheaper yourself aswell

  • I tried Snappr recently. Ordered an hour package for about $100. They come to you, take a bunch of photos. He had ideas and suggestions which worked really well. We only needed him for 40 minutes. The next day there were about 40 photos in my Snappr account and I could choose 6 or 7?? Extras were $10 each. My parents wanted some photos with their grandkids and some individuals, we took them at the beach and it was a Mother's Day gift. Great value, the photos came out very slick and look good at my place and theirs.

  • Not in Melbourne but have done quite a few newborn photoshoots for friends/family.

Definitely not a waste of time in my mind, they're only that tiny for a very short amount of time (a few weeks). That being said, newborn photoshoots are extremely difficult because they are very hard to pose. Not only that but I like to shoot them natural (i.e. no nappy) and all except for one shoot the parent, assistant has had urine and poo on them. So be prepared with towels and a change of clothes!
