very good except HDMI only supports 4K@30Hz but still good

    • Hi, what does it mean? Can I connect to my hdmi monitor?

      • +2

You can, but if your monitor is 4k, you would only get maximum 30 frames per second. Normally people would look for at least 60fps.

      • Yes you can, it just won't look quite as nice if you use it everyday.

    • Should be a deal breaker right there if you're looking to connect a 4K monitor. 30Hz refresh rate is AWFUL. Basic tasks like moving the mouse pointer and dragging windows around are a bad experience at 30Hz.

      • I don't mind lowering the resolution for $11

        • Buying a 4K monitor and then running it at a lower resolution so you can use an $11 dock ?

          Don't do this.

          • @Nom: yea, probably not if you’ve got a 4k monitor but it would be perfect if you don’t which has a lower resolution.
