Recommendation on Clip on Towing Mirrors

Have a Caravan now and the towing mirrors that came along with the Van like these don't fit my 2021 PX3 Ford Ranger very well.

So I am in need of some other mirrors. I would love to replace the factory mirrors with some Clearview or MSA mirrors, but I will do that later on.

I've done some research and found a few that I like but would like to see if others have recommendations or views on below:

It's not an off road van, so freeway driving only.

Thanks!

  • I’ll give a plus one for the anaconda ones. They’re not glamorous but they are easy to put on it off and adjust. And they get the job done.

If it is just a temporary stopgap until you get clear views, these will be fine.

Thanks, it seems to have pretty good reviews. I am leaning towards those at this stage.

That's the plan yes. I would love some ClearViews or similar right away, but at $1200 (for the electric powered ones), a bit of a cost at the moment.

Who needs mirrors when its every caravaners solemn duty to never use them🤣

  • I used those autobarn mirrors last summer. They fit great and gave good view white moving slow - while on the highway they vibrated a lot but were barely enough.

  • Milenco. Snowys tends to be cheapest.

  • The Milenco Anaconda ones are good. Plenty of Gumtree and markerplace as well if you want them cheaper.

  • Milenco are great, can highly recommend them

Recommendation on Clip on Towing Mirrors

They are all crap, get some pull out mirrors instread.

    • There’s a massive price difference. I my case clip on mirrors are a better option or I’d need two pairs of clear views.

      • Sure a big price difference, but you always have them ready to go. Don't need to worry about them getting lost/broken or left behind etc.

You get what you pay for, if you tow often, they are great! If you tow once every 5 years, then maybe not.

    • As I said

Purely because of the cost at this stage. I will eventually do it.
