Are Clothes from Catch.com.au Authentic?

Hi All

Does anyone here order clothes from Catch? I know they might be old models but are they authentic? The prices are cheaper than outlet stores!

At the moment they have good prices on Ralph Lauren, Tommy & CK, and others.

In my opinion they are genuine but usually grey imports tailored for a country with lower quality expectations

CK and Tommy Hilfiger and many others are no longer "designer" brands. They sold their label rights to the PVH group whom slap the logo on products made by third parties for royalty fees. They appear cheap because they are. You can even find them in Costco.

  A lot of brands do this. Cheap thin fabric with cheap prints on them. The brands probably figure people will be buying even worse quality fakes anyway.

The days of brands being a reliable indicator of clothing quality appear to mostly gone. Build a name, rape it for profits, rinse, repeat, profit.

So many labels that used to be a go to are simply mass produced shills now… sport, surf and skate labels used to sell amazing quality clothing that would last for years. Now it's just all a facade of fashion envy.
