According to the FAQ's on the website they are. I personally haven't bought from them so can't comment on quality.

"With more than 30 years of coffee roasting experience, we know that quality coffee comes from using the highest-grade green coffee. Our coffee is uniquely roasted, daily, by an experienced multi-award winning coffee roaster right here in Australia."

Every time I buy from Primo is seems freshly roasted…happy customer…not affiliated at all

  • Seems like a pretty good deal. I'm looking at the decaf for the wife, it gets decent reviews on Amazon. Has anyone tried this brand?

    • +1

I haven't read them but have heard great things about the decaf as well.

      Yes…excellent

      Especially the Numero Uno

      Very strong & bold

      Decaf is good too

Thanks for the comments. I think I'll buy a few kgs and store some in the freezer. Works out to just under $19/kg if you buy the two pack - can't pass that up.

    • My partner loves their decaf capsules.

  • Has anyone tried the Maestro?

For even better value, order their bundles

    Really good prices!

  • Which bean would be best for filter?

  • Thanks… got Five kilos. Two bundles and one single variety. I'll let you know how I go..

  • free shipping over $65
or $10 for orders under $65 it seems

  • Used these guys several times now, coffee tastes pretty pretty good!

  • Primo caffe's phone# is same as Di Stefano specialty coffee. Is it normal? or they share one location? different branding strategy? and some of their products share same features…

    • I'm guessing the same company, the Maestro bag says it's a reinvigoration of Guiseppe Di Stefano's original recipe.

      • ordered and tried, not impressed… so thinking just for marketing only!?

  • Love primo. It is the best cheap coffee.

I mix the Forte with Killer Coffee or other much more powerful blends to make a good expresso shot

  • good deal OP, worthwhile taking a risk on trying this coffee given it's like $15/kg. Hopefully it's freshly roasted like other commenters have mentioned.

    • Some are under $10

  • This isn't primo small goods is it?

      I don't believe so

Already received mine, was very surprised at the shipping speed, I'm in Melbourne and I think they're in NSW.

Here are the expiry dates for the ones I purchased, I would assume they are the roast dates plus two years.

    Maestro 16/6/25
    Classico 7/06/25
    Tazza D'oro 09/05/25

  • Ordered on 27 Jun morning, and received it next day afternoon, thanks to Courier Please, that was unbelievable super fast speed. (BTW, meanwhile, AUS POST took 8 days from nsw to bne, for delivery Marionette beans) . Primo's beans prints expired date 19/6/2025, and got first shot coffee of maestro on 29 Jun morning, not impressed both double shot latte and long black, quite ordinary coffee taste wise, but really with a lot of crema, i think its because medium or light roasted and seems freshly roasted. with 40% off price tag, totally worth trying, way better than super market stocks.

  • Ordered the organic beans and they were roasted 3 weeks old and not impressed. Coffee tasted not strong and its chocolate notes overwhelmed it
