    They already had the Special Edition cans on sale at the 7-Eleven opposite the QVB in Sydney today. Definitely better tasting than the original flavour for me (not that the bar is set too high on that one).

    Red Bull Mobile have been giving them out free (each of the 3 flavours) to their customers. got mine back on the 10th.

    If I remember I'll try for one at the UNSW one tomorrow. I hope this isn't like the free coke one a year ago where the clerk treats you thief for trying to redeem their own offer.

    poor form 7-eleven… went to 2 of the listed stores in the city (Franklin/Elizabeth and Spencer) and both denied having a red bull deal if the ad is mentioned. Even though I showed them the promotion through the website! At least have staff competent enough to know what to do when there are so many people showing up to collect!!

      I got one from Elizabeth St (Vic market) without any issues. I sidled up to the counter and asked the guy if he was 'aware of the red bull promotion blah blah'. He told me to go grab one - rather quietly mind you. There were other customers around and it seemed like he was trying to hide it.

      He scanned it through for me and I was on my way! Still plenty left in the fridge when I was there at about 1.30pm today.

    I went to 7-eleven this morning and although they clearly state that you can get all 3 flavors for $7 the cashier could not work it out, he just ended up blaming the system and pointing at the $10.35 on the screen. So i walked out

    No "FREE" red bull unless you count a discount as being free. I was a bit luckier than 'the brewer' as I did not face the clerk (I only wanted one free red bull not the three for 7 offer). I think it should be more explicitly stated that this is not a FREE red bull deal that this is a deal which requires you purchase three for a special price of $7. I went to one of the verified stores in NSW (near UNSW) and although there were both standard and special red bull editions prominently on display he denied that there was any "FREE" red bull cans. So I walked out.

    Fired off a complaint to head office re this. My local 7-11 consistently refuses to honor any deals or promos. Wonder if I'll get a reply?

    just write a complaint to HQ you might be lucky and get some Slurpee vouchers like i did regarding a different promo.

    Well I got a reply from 7-11 re the RedBull promo -

    "Dear Anthony,
     
     
    Terribly sorry about the mix up with the Red Bull last week. There was a communication breakdown which was completely not the stores’ fault that led them to being unaware of the promotion.
    By means of apology, could I post you a $5 on us voucher that can be used like cash at any 7-Eleven?
