    The official guidance is No. But they're USB-powered and there's some community threads etc where people have tinkered and got it working. The cameras support RTSP and Synology NAS is officially supported. From there you could sync to your cloud of choice.

    This system is not designed for 24/7 recording. It's designed to capture events and do short recordings. You need to get wired if you want to do constant recording properly

    Not really.

    Apart from the much larger battery (365 day vs 180 day) and solar panels you could say that they look exactly the same.

    If, however, you were using them inside and didn't mind charging the batteries more often, then they probably work out the same.

    they are very close. however, For any home base, without UPS, camera will stop working if there is power outage.
