Just wanted to give you guys a run down on my experience with BuySKU thus far.
I purchased an Ainol Elf II from them on August 14 with this deal… http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/77332. Pretty good price, and I paid the extra for the EMS express shipping which they said should arrive within approximately 5-10 days which I was happy with as I wanted it as a present for Fathers Day.
Took a little while for them to post, when I queried it they said they'd found a problem testing the initial unit and had replaced it with another, and it was eventually posted on August 18, was then told it would be roughly 5-10 working days. I've been checking the tracking on the package and noticed it still hadn't left China today, contacted the and was told it hadn't cleared customs in China and was returned to them. I can now either get a refund or they will ship it via DHL which will take anywhere from 2-8 working days.
To be fair they are pretty prompt at responding and seem to be trying to fix the situation but it's been extremely frustrating after paying the extra for the express shipping and now it almost certainly won't be here for Fathers Day - almost 3 weeks after ordering it initially. Maybe one to avoid in the future if you want anything within a reasonable timeframe.
Sorry to hear ypur issues. I have bought from them just once recently on August 3rd (a cheap watch repair kit) and did not pay for tracking or fast post. My order was confirmed with the message:
Thank you for your order on BuySKU.com. Your package has been sent off. Since it is sent by surface mail, there isn't a tracking number for you. Hope you could understand. Usually it will take 15 to 25 business days for transportation. If there is anything else that we can do for you, please feel free to contact us.
I received my item on 17th August which was faster than expected.
