Sweet, these will look good with the Holeproof Explorer socks I bought from Big W.

      Muahaha… golden!

I actually own these and I have found them very good for any sort of terrain.. including water.

        You can walk on water?

        • +2

They don't call 'em Jesus sandals for nuthin.

Don't forget to also wear a big cricket hat

Would these be suitable to use as reef shoes in Vanuatu?

    • Also can anyone help with fit? I'm a size 13US in running shoes

      • +1

Their chart size page, which is also getting a hammering, shows that they sell based on US sizes so pick 13.

        • Thanks OP and Mugsy, got a pair of size 13. Will be perfect for wading while flicking lures in Vanuatu :-)

The Fit Tip from website: We find this style runs about a 1/2 size small.

    • Probably ok for walking on the reef (tread lightly please!), but wouldn't be so good for swimming. "Aqua socks" are probably better (and cheaper).

  • OzBargain'd? Can't load the page - or any page for that matter

  • yep anything 'keen' at 1/3 the price will sell rather quickly :)

Site seems pretty slow but it loaded eventually, i read on amazon these run about a 1/2 size too small which is worth taking into consideration.

    • Thanks for the heads up. Got myself a size US10.5 and am hoping I have more luck with these than the previous pair of hiking shoes I bought… they were too big unless I wore thick hiking socks with them.

Bugger I didn't realise these were us sizes until after I ordered.

    • +1

OK I gave them a call and got the sizes changed. Bought a pair of each as I couldn't decide lol. Was just going to go with the $60 pair, but I figured with the free postage over $100 that the second pair was only going to cost an extra $40 so it seemed rude not to lol.

I am wearing 13us size shoes, according to fit tip, I need 14us size, but 14us size is missing in option, I guess it's been sold out.

    • Remember that shoes fit a little differently, plus you have to factor in wearing socks. I wear a size 13US running shoe so I bought size 13US in this sandle. Figuring that the half size less should mean they fit well

I'm sure you can email them to change it, they were pretty quick to reply to my enquiries.

I ordered Sunday, shipped yesterday via Startrack Express and its on board for delivery today, I'm in north nsw, pretty damn fast although I did mention I was headed overseas and needed it quickly

Thanks so much for posting. I was looking at these type of sandals about a year ago but am too tight to pay over $100 so this is fantastic. I live next door to Anaconda so I ran across and tried them on before buying! For others, I am normally a 9.5 but found I needed a full size up, so got 10.5. I do like my shoes to have a little bit of room though so I would say 1/2 size up is correct. Also, I tried both pairs on and ended up getting the $60 pair, I found these more comfortable as they had soft suede material on the bottom lining, while the others have firm rubbery material. I plan to use these as an everyday sandal so thought the rubbery ones may get a little sweaty after a while, but if you plan to use them in the water, the $50 ones may be best.

"I live next door to Anaconda so I ran across and tried them on before buying!"

Lol whoa! I shudder to think what goes on in your street when a Calvin Klein underwear sale gets listed. :P

        Lol dammit.. I'm such a noob. I've just realised something. ~blushing furiously~

When I made the above post I thought that "Anaconda" was some member on here and who is a buddy of Sparkyglo.

I've just seen this listing posted 15min ago…

        http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78510

..which tells me that "Anaconda" is in fact a store. And that Sparkyglo isn't checking out his shoe size from his next-door-neighbour mate, much less would be with underwears either. D'oh! ~facepalm~

  • Great Deal - bought.

  • Why pay for half a shoe when you can get the other half for same price.

  • Thanks for the deal, coupla pairs snaffled!

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing these :/

    • They're not all that fashionable with, say, jeans I admit but would be great for for casual hiking during summer.

I got the non-leather pair so can hose em off if need be.

  • would be nice if they had a list of father's day special items
didn't realise they were other shoes on discount
might have got free shipping as i coulda bought an extra as a gift

  • site's down?

  • Omg, I just bought these at $130 on Sunday. They are so so comfortable.

    • +1

Also, US11.5 for me instead of the usual US10.5 in other brands. My partner go's from 8 to 8.5 in keen.

  • Yeah I'm usually an 11 so I got an 11.5.. still a little small : ( hopefully they will refund need a 12 I think

    • I hope your right, first time buying shoes/sandals online. im going to go 1 full size up.

  • I have weird shaped feet though but two others in the comments say the same about the sizing

  • I'm a bit weary tbh, I've bought sandals before for much cheaper… How good are these?

  • when does it take off the freight price over $100? it's still staying at
    $ 109.78 ($AUD) … before i click submit.

    • Why would it give you free shipping? I saw that it is free for purchases over $100. If your total is $109.78 just before you click (so I assume that is shipping already included) and shipping is $9.90 (in my test basket anyway) then you have a goods total of $99.88 which is less than the required $100. Splurge on a spare shoelace.

  • I want these but buying shoes over the interwebz… :/ I find it difficult with out them being on my feet first

  • I just purchased yesterday, i also received the order confirmation email, but i could not check what status my order is in their website. Does anyone can help me how to check my order? Thank you very much.

  • Got mine today. Damn they weren't kidding about the small sizing!

I usually take a UK 9 to 9.5, so I got 10.5 in these, could have probably gone 11.

    • A UK 9.5 is a US 10.5.. so half a size up would have been an 11

  • mine arrived today- very happy. Thankyou ozbargain.
Already a fan of Keen sandles - knew what size to get.
They match the US sizing I get in New Balance joggers

  • I ordered a size 9 after reading the size comments (would usually be 8.5) and they are still fairly tight. Comfortable and wearable, but a full size larger would have probably been better.
