Although the parent company has gone into bankruptcy .. it is sad to see that.. iconic brands under it

Pyrex, Corningware, Instant, Corelle, Snapware, Chicago Cutlery, Visions - have used most of these brands and were pretty good..

Still a good deal though as ours hasn't broken down since 3-4 years now..

  • Good price. I've had one of these for a few years too.
Main use is as a pressure cooker - air frying isn't something we do a lot of, but it's nice to have the option without needing another appliance in the kitchen (and having to store it)

whats difference Gourmet Crisp and duo crisp?

  • If anyone knows this model is different with Amazon one ?

    • I have the amazon one and this looks like has more features but if i look closely they both have 11 buttons and thus 11 in 1. Costco one looks newer and is cheaper and amazon one is way overpriced at the moment

I had a look at this before I bought the one from Costco late last year. I was only able to see 3 differences - black label instead of the normal silver which might be a "Costco" only special, "Grill" instead of "Broil" and ""Sterilise" instead of "Steam". As far as I know they are the same, what we call grill, American call broil. Sterilise is steaming yeah? Regardless, the buttons are basically just specialised program which can be customised, it probably doesn't matter anyway. Love my 8L air fryer/pressure cooker. Really good for fast ribs when I am craving it, pressure cook 34 min then air fryer 12 min :), much quicker than doing ribs the old way.

    • Duo crisp was $160 before. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/768207

  • Bummer! Costco! Anywhere else?

Be wary with this unit that the air fryer lid and pressure cooker lid are separate. The air fryer lid is pretty large so the whole thing does take up quite a bit of space.

  • Damn that's a good price.. I've had one for about a year now it's great. best of both worlds even if you can only cook small batches in the airfryer.
