^ this great comment on this misleading post.

Thankyou Hand Wash Refill Botanical Lime and Coriander 1L $6.25 @ Amazon

This is not true as you can't buy 1 litre for $6.25 on Amazon. It's $12.50 for 2 litres at least. Head to BigW for a single bottle.

And it's 50% off RRP if somebody's wondering.

And I'm going to get negged for facts…

      • Are you surprised you didn’t get negged for ‘facts’?
Cuz if you are, I can get a couple of my mates to neg this back to oblivion lol 😆

        • Not surprised, 3 negs so far.

Like, some people love to do marketing, even if they're just posting, not selling.

Lime and coriander? So you want to smell like you just marinated your hands…😅

    • +2

I'm guessing this is why its the only variant on special

    • +7

Dab a bit of fish sauce on the neck to finish off the flavour profile.

    • +1

bought before did not like the smell at all

      • +1

And that’s why it’s the only one on sale. Fewer sales compared to better smelling ones

  • +4

Lemon Myrtle & Goat's Milk is also on sale

    • I’m wondering how they come up with these random smells.
Do they have this one guy they send to the field to sniff out random shi t and suggest new smells?

Real OzBargainers buy the pump pack once and then refill it with home-brand. Your guests will never know.

What’s the cheapest soap liquid you’d put in it? Asking for a friend

      • +1

        Coles 1L $3. Diluted with water at 1:3 soap:water.

        • Thanks. Do I need to shake it in order to mix it for the right texture? What’s the stinkiest one to see your guests start sniffing their hands? Asking for another friend

          • +2

@Ozjoey: By the cheapest and Put a few drops of essential oil (peppermint for example) and lots of sniffing

            • @dtc: Ok great will do. Thanks

        • Why diluted?

    • Thankyou

    • I thought I invented that! :-)

    • +2

      I refill but with Palmolive

I've always thought coriander was more "soap" than garnish.

Yet another hand wash that doesn’t actually appear to be antibacterial?
Most hand wash will be advertised as “kills 99.9% of germs” and this makes no mention of it that I can see.

      • -2

Probably anyone who is buying this coriander handwash having assumed it is antibacterial?

        • +1

If someone is dumb enough to (i) assume that it’s antibacterial without checking and (ii) think that a handwash being ‘antibacterial’ makes any sort of difference anyway then they probably have bigger issues than buying the wrong soap.

        • -1

Again, why would you assume that a soap has some specific antibacterial stuff in it if it's not stated?

It's like complaining that a pizza comes with no fries while nobody ever said it comes with fries or offered them. Nothing against you needing that antibacterial soap, just an interesting case.

    • +11

Antibacterial soaps are terrible for promoting antibiotic resistance. Normal soap without being antibacterial is meant to remove them by slipping them off from contact with the skin

Normal soap has the same effectiveness of antibacterial soaps without the added issue of antibiotic resistance

    • I think you all misunderstood the post. He was just taking the piss out of the fact that soaps says 99.9% anti bacterial when in fact all soaps are 99.9% anti bacterial and any added claim of inclusion of anti bacterial additives are redundant

  • Gluten free

  • too expensive for me!

  • +1

Doesn't say it, but this is a clearance price. Thankyou are relaunching their entire range.

  • Got one, smells nice. Will last a few years in a foaming thing
Any body soap that smells nice but doesn't cost like $30/L?

100% of profit helps end poverty!

So there’s incentive for them to maintain poverty to sell more soap, no? 😅🤔
