How to Keep Track of Deals on PC Parts?

I'm looking to build a new PC and I'm going to buy the parts slowly over the next few months as they go on sale. I check OzBargain every day and am wondering if there are any other sites or methods I could use to find out when PC parts go on sale? I'm interested in both internal hardware components and peripherals.

    • Thanks mate! I'll give it a go

  • You may already be aware of this, but keep in mind that if you're buying parts slowly over time, you won't find out if any are DOA for up to a few months. Of course warranty is still there if you're buying within au, but at most retailers warranty replacements are a bigger PITA than DOA replacements - eg DOA is often exchanged on the spot, vs with warranty having it sent away for analysis and eventual refund or replacement.

    • That's a good point, I didn't think about that. I still think I'll risk it though, even if it is a pain to get a refund or replacement through warranty. I'll make sure to buy within Aus though.

Over a few months? Mate it will be outdated by the time you build it.
