Amazon Expected Delivery Changes Once Logged in?

Found something that I want on Amazon that had an expected delivery date of one week. Logged in to buy (I've got Prime) and the expected delivery date is now two weeks? Logged off to check and it's back to one week. Does this happen to anyone else?

That can happen depending on address or parcel locker etc. When you log in, it picks up your actual delivery address and may adjust estimate accordingly.

    • It had the correct postcode before I logged in though

      • The correct postcode is the correct delivery estimate date.

  • Using the app or website? Maybe it auto changed your delivery type?

I’ve certainly had stuff tagged as “expect it today “ (prepurchase), ordered it and the accompanying email says “tomorrow “

  • I have had it change sometimes too. Adding additional items sometimes changes all items to ship from a different state.

  • If you’re in a big city then Amazon have their own delivery system, but if you are elsewhere then it goes to a third party courier, so thats why the delivery time might be different.
