Help and Thoughts on Buying Work Laptop Please

Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster. I’m needing help and suggestions on buying work laptop.

We have been offered an option to buy our used work laptops (MacBook Air) mostly M1 and M2 with 8/16GB RAM at $600. Most of them are used around 3 years or less. Please advise if this is worth it?

I was given brand new when I joined and have maintained well. But mine is MacBook Air Retina 2020 16GB RAM and is discontinued now. Can request for M1/M2 for the same price. $600 would be inclusive of the Magic Mouse and the keyboard.

Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated please.

    Thank you for the input. Not sure about apple care as the items are more than 2 years. I’ll make sure to ask :)

      M2 was released last year so fingers crossed! Even if they don’t have Apple care, if you have a receipt to use as proof of purchase, you’ve still got the 2 year consumer warranty.

      Not sure about the rules with Apple, but better yet you might not even need the receipt for the 2 year consumer warranty. Maybe someone here on OzB knows

  Great performance on those M1 chips, with the accessories it's a great deal that will perform well for years. Price is under market.
