These are the closest thing to a Singapore Laksa i’ve come across. The wholegrain version are also awesome.

The mama one that woolworths has are actually pretty good. Only one I have tried that tastes close to curry laksa.

I love the flavor of these Cup Noodles but I'm not a fan of the shrimp either. They sit on the top and you can easily remove them before adding the boiling water.

I personally have no issues who which nationality the person is who makes the food as long as it tastes good or is as authentic as possible.

Except that Salmonella is easily killed by the boiling water you used to make the noodles. Your infection must have come from somewhere else.
I thought so as well, but my partner also got really sick (mild fever, chills and diarrhoea etc.) a few days later after having one (we got three cups in total, this flavour btw, and ended up discarding the last one). Given that we've never had such bad food poisoning before, it's hard to think otherwise
