I can't speak to every cinema, but my Village, the Vrewards tickets are only ever 15 at most anyway, often times less. I still order via Telstra Tickets to save them pennies, but definitely worth hoping on Vrewards and chucking a squizz.

    • Hey @TheDukeOfNukem,

Thank you for sharing! It’s great that you already get tickets via VRewards, which give you 20% off a regular ticket price, but not all locations have set pricing for a standard ticket.
For example, even through VRewards, a standard movie ticket at Century City is a minimum of $16.

Also, it’s important to note that Telstra Plus (which is only for members) and VRewards are great discount movie tickets, but Good Tix is the only one that’s a discounted movie ticket but also includes a donation to a charitable cause of your choice - so you actually do something good while you’re having fun!

Get Hoyts onboard and you got my business

    • Hey @gingerscale,

We’d love that too! Why do you like Hoyts best?

      • Probably the recliner seats. Most Hoyts have them. Barely any Village Cinemas I know has recliner seats as standard.

Nowadays if I want to see a movie I just go on Tuesday where it's like $10.50, and I buy it at the cinema so I don't have to pay a stupid booking fee.

  • Which 'three outstanding Australian charities' are you supporting ?

  • Seems a bit dodge, says here 40% donated, yet website says 50% hmm

    • Hey @BatmanAU,

We donate 50% of the profit from the sale of tickets to the top 3 charities supporting your chosen cause. Good Tix evouchers are priced at a flat $15, which means they’re a 40% discount compared to regular event cinemas tickets - which can cost up to $23 per ticket! We say it is up to 40% discount because the standard price of an adult ticket at Event Cinemas varies, whereas we keep our tickets at a flat rate!

      • Read it wrong, sorry

  • There is a $4 surcharge for Village VMax.

  • Hey everyone, we've just sold out of tickets but will be getting more soon. Keep an eye out here for updates or flick us an email at [email protected] if you'd like to be notified when more tickets are available.

  • Hey everyone - we've restocked! Happy cinema going :)

  • Will there be a surcharge for vmax at event cinemas??

    • Hi Zegga - yes there is. Surcharges apply to upgrade to V-Max or 3D screenings and must be paid at the time of redeeming the eVoucher. 3D glasses sold separately. Thanks!

  • will this work for VMAX/ATMOS at Village Cinemas Crown
