Take 4 Pool trips between now and 3 September [2023] and we'll shout you a ride with Uber Pool (up to $100, not including fees). Fees and t&cs apply.

t&cs: Promotion only available to intended recipients, in Australia and/or New Zealand where Uber Pool is available. Offer is non-transferable and expires 3 September 2023. Not valid for Uber for Business profiles or for purchases through the Uber Eats apps. The promotion applies to the value of the trip fare only and does not apply to tolls, surcharges, levies, cancellation fees, wait fees or any other fee or charge. When a rider completes 4 Uber Pool trips before 3 September 2023, we will automatically apply a promotion of $100 off on the next Uber Pool ride.

I don't own a car. I'm a big advocate for ride-sharing and think Uber Pool is a great initiative in terms of cost savings for those who rely on ridesharing as a form of transport, but also environmentally in moving multiple people from A to B in the same vehicle. Covid kind of killed Uber Pool just as it was coming into its stride, so I'm hoping it will become the norm again soon!

To maximise value, I don't see why you couldn't take 4x cheaper trips to the value of $15-20 and then save your last "free" pool trip for an expensive ride to the airport or similar.

  I wonder if the $100 off expires on 3 September as well, or just have to complete the 4 share ride before 3 September.

  Thinking to use the offer to get a ride to the airport, but my trip doesn't happen until December tho.

  Hmm, Uber Pool used to only be available within a certain radius of the CBD. Now it seems you can book it anywhere? As an Uber driver I hate getting the Pool trips because it tells me the passenger is cheap and won't tip.

  FYI every time I took a pool trip, I was receiving an email stating “your 5th pool trip is on us. Take X more trips…”
  This stopped after the fourth trip and then on my fifth, I never received the benefit. I have sent a report to Uber and we will see what the outcome is.

  Can anyone confirm when the free Uber Pool ride expires? I can see it in my account but no date and I seem to have lost the email I got about it.

    deal states 3 Sep 2023. If any issues contact support and request they honour the deal. Screenshot one of your emails for evidence.
