Anyone Successful in Claiming Lifetime Warranty on Energizer Lightning Cable?

I bought mine in 2019 and has just stop working. I replied to email I got after registering it as per instruction in their website and also to their general customer contact but never got a response. Email did not bounce back either.

    Such warranties are for the original owners. I bought a FLUKE meter from a lab that went broke.
    Fluke told me tfb, the lifetime warranty ONLY applies to the original owner.

      I bought it brand new from Woolworths. Am I not the original owner? Also considering I have successfully registered it in 2019.

        A reason I avoid Woolworth as they know it is not worth for clients to contact authorities.

          Sorry I did not mention I sent the emails to Energizer not Woolworths.

    Presumably the lifetime warranty is against manufacturing defects, not wear and tear.
    After 4 years, it will be hard to show an issue was because of the former.

    • They implying 5yrs of wear and tear being reasonable lifespan of the Lifetime Warranty.

    Please note that “Lifetime Warranty" refers to the lifetime of the product, not to the one of the buyer or any other individual. We have worked hard designing our products and by “Lifetime Warranty” we mean that the product over its reasonable lifespan will work the way it is supposed to under normal conditions and use.
    Over time, products become worn and obsolete, and materials and parts may wear down or may become unusable due to technological advances. Taking these factors into account we have assessed that the reasonable lifespan of the Lifetime Warranty accessories is 5 years from the original date of purchase.
    In case of problem with your cable:
    1- During the first 2 years after the purchase of the Lifetime cables : please contact your retailer
    2- After 2 years, reply to the e-mail you received after your registration with a picture of your faulty product.
    3- Energizer will contact you for detailed information in order to send you a new product. Please note that administrative fee might be charged according to your country.
    What is not covered :
    • Accident, transport, deficiency, abnormal or excessive use, fault or negligence on the part of someone other than a ENERGIZER employee or representative.
    • Customer's failure to comply with the Product instructions, or to comply with precautionary advice provided with the Product by ENERGIZER
    • Customer's failure to maintain the Product in a suitable environment, including but not limited to, any failure to ensure the adequacy of a power supply or provide an adequate power supply, or allowing the Product to be affected or damaged by inappropriate substances, such as liquids, humidity or dirt.
    • Natural catastrophe or Act of God, including but not limited to fire or water damage.

      Advertising “lifetime warranty” that is only 5 years is extremely misleading
