  Partner is from NYC and I've lived there.

  This is a grotesquely garish bit of crockery that captures none of the character of the city. It's like Keith Harring kitsch. Would be too embarrassed to have this in my kitchen if it was free.

  They do have the melbourne and sydney ones on sale including. coasters on ebay for the matching coasters for $2 and $4 for the rectangular plates.

  Combined with the 10% store promo and stacked wiyh $5 ebay discount is $16 total for local pickup if you are in the melbourne area.

  Good as travel gifts for friends overseas when you are travelling, although there is a risk from baggage handlers from australia.
