Use google to check out the second hand prices for them. 10% of RRP in order to get them sold very very quickly.

20 seconds and found some "Thule Motion 800 roof box pod" on gumtree.
Why wouldn't you want it any more? once open at least 30%-40% depreciation.
The adapter is more make/model specific so buyer will need to get a new one.
