I'm worried this will tear the windscreen off my car

    • I noticed all models are the pre-N95 ones? My N82 is not listed and I don't think the size is that much different from many models on that list i.e. N73

      • see haz's post below:
        dimensions: height 95 - 120 mm, width 42 - 55 mm, thickness 13 - 26 mm, weight 200 g at maximum.

        your N82 should be fine.

ps. you need a new phone dude! aha. (aha, don't get me wrong, i LOVE my old N82, which i still use as an alarm clock! but i've already upgraded to N8 and then to 808, so you're a bit behind!:P)

        • lol I also got the N8 as well as the N9, but the N82 is still working…OK, so are my 8310, 7600, 6280, 8800 ;)
I will wait till 05/09 to decide whether to get the 808 or wp8 pureview

        • aha, in that case you need to stop breaking your touchscreen phones!

but yeah, keen to see what gets announced in september…

just don't break the pureview when you get it, aha!

This is a fantastic deal I think, worth it for the charger alone.

Please be aware of the width and height as mobiles are growing in size and you may find that it won't fit many smart phones these days.

    http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/apac/phones/guides/Nokia…

The mobile holder CR-39 supports mobile devices with the following dimensions: height 95 - 120 mm, width 42 - 55 mm, thickness 13 - 26 mm, weight 200 g at maximum.

  • Chuck the charger cable in the bin and use the phone cradle for your iPhone. I have 5 of these (in each of my cars) and they were a bargain when I bought them at $25 each.

    • An iPhone is a fair bit wider than 55mm yeah?

      Does it fit in easily?

I use an iPhone 4 in a griffin case.
I had to remove one side of the sticky foam cushion inside the grip but that makes no real difference.
Still works 10 times better than any of the Happytrip ones from Supercheap or Repco.
If the new iPhone is even 2mm wider though, I don't think it will fit.

        • Thanks for the reply ;)

        • How many mm is your iPhone in the Griffin case?

  • For modern phones that use a micro-USB socket for power, use this adapter:

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-nokia-ca-146c-usb-2-0-h…

But the bigger problem is that modern smartphones are too wide to fit in this cradle.

  • these are quite well made, much better than the ebay rubbish that is available at this sort of price.

  • Thanks for posting, great price

  • Someone that has one: how wide do they open up? Specs say 55mm is maximum width, but someone said iPhone fits, which are more than that.

  • Deal Fox has upped the price to $9.95 but still a good buy as these things are really solid.

  • and at its widest opening, the width is 65mm.
