      Up until the last 10 minutes it's a great game. Not as good as the second installment in my opinion, but still very very enjoyable. And they have released free DLC that extends on the ending to make it less disappointing.. I definitely recommend it.

  The first one was a great concept, very good story, reasonable characters and fun gameplay.

  The second was a muddled concept, all plot no story, reasonable characters and slightly better gameplay than the first.

  The third was a mess from start to finish, but the gameplay was quite good.

  If you're the kind of person to skip dialogue and cut scenes on your first play through and hold no fondness for the first game''s characters and story, then it's a fine game.

      Garbage review is garbage.

      The game is great and the ending was/is fine. Nerd rage caused the extended cut, it was unnecessary IMO.

        I completely agree changes were unnecessary. And you've mistaken a forlorn disappointment with rage. It is what it is. You've also completely inputted your own idea about why it's bad (the ending) instead of reading what I said.

        But here's a fun exercise for everyone. Write down the story & plot of the first, second and third games. Now read them back and see which ones makes sense and which ones don't.

        EDIT Another fun exercise: write down a one or two sentence summary about each companion and their story. Compare them. For the majority of them there's only two basic back stories.

        So you like the same copy and paste 2 minute cut scene not explaining anything for no matter which choice you make at the end of your game trilogies do you? The extended cut made the endings so much better and actually different from one another.

        I've only played through it once too. It's quite easy to look up the endings on Youtube. It was still a horrible ending that left a lot of things unanswered whether you played through it once or ten times. If it wasn't so bad, Bioware wouldn't have changed it. Simple. ps you're clearly still a nerd yourself, you'll never lose the title. Nothing wrong with being a nerd :)

        Why would you need to re-play it to write it down? If the game is really that hard to recall the basic outline of and the basics of the main characters, then wow, you thought the games were worse than I did.
