Women's Watch Suggestions

Hey everyone,

I'm out here trying to buy a watch as a gift and I'm having difficulties finding the right one. My budget is around $500 and I was looking for a women's silver watch with a green watch face.

I can't for the life of me find one that looks decent at all, and I really dont know if I'm getting my values worth

Thanks for any help

  • Have you considered a smaller size male watch? It's kind of cool seeing a so called "man's watch" on a female.

I just had a look at Starbuy & they have this 38mm Seiko with a teal dial for $335.00 delivered.

There's a Citizen ladies range but no green dial.

    • I actually did, but she has really small wrists so I'm stuck looking at womens only. Nice looking watch though.

      • Maybe @StarBuy has something in a green dial for a lady in stock but not on the website.

        • Thanks anyways, those citizen watches look quite good I might reconsider the green

          • @GooseLord: Hi there. Nothing in a Green dial for ladies in stock at the moment I'm sorry.

            Thanks

  • Hi, watches are quite personal and it would depend on the individual preference and how they/when will wear it.

I received this Nordsgreen NATIVE WHITE DIAL - OLIVE GREEN NATO as a gift last year. If you are buying as a gift, I would highly recommend this. It comes in a nice gift box.
(P.S: I had the link to the watch saved in my wishlist and so partner knew what exactly to get)

While it's a great watch, I only wear it as a dress watch. because as someone who works 8+ on a computer, I hate the feeling of watch on my wrist when typing. Take all those factors into consideration when buying.

What watch did your giftee tell you she wants?

Im a woman and I wear Swatches. But Im a teacher. Id never wear an expensive watch to work.

I also have dainty wrists so anything larger than a 34mm is a no go.

What is the purpose of the watch? Everyday wear special occasion? Do they do a job where a particular type of watch would be more preferable?

    • Id never wear an expensive watch to work.

      Why not?

      • Lol have you worked in public schools?

        🤣

I attended public schools & my kiddos go to one.

          ?

          • @[Deactivated]: Well, give them a $1000+ watch and a) see how long it lasts with the wear and tear b) see how long before it gets knicked.

Unless, of course, public schools mean $1500 fees and fancy uniforms.

For me they mean blackboards and shivs.

@Benoffie: Do you teach in Australia?
