  Used one of these for 8 years before moving on to a larger deskmat. The additional thickness means the edges lie flush with the surface of the table out of the box which is a problem for the thinner variant as they ship it rolled up. No issues with the cloth surface at all with the gaming mice I've had over the years, though it will need a periodic wash to remove dead skin cells!

    i bought a few of these - one to use as a mouse mat and cut up another to make a wrist rest amongst other things. nice to not have to rest my hand on the cold, hard surface of my desk.
