If you have eBay plus and don't know what to use your $5 PLUS5C voucher for, then you can get it for $14.42.

It seems not waterproof. Indoor use only.

@Inkbird do you have similar devices which are NOT battery operated?

I’m done changing batteries on IoT devices.

  • Bought one for monitoring my dry curing chamber.

Hopefully this means I can uninstall the Engbird app!

  • Can you put these in Home assistant?

    • Manufacture website says:

In addition, the device can be connected to the product Alexa, but it can only query the temperature and humidity.

    • It looks like only the Bluetooth models are currently supported (like the IBS-TH2).

  • I can't even get mine to connect to wifi.

    • It took me 5 attempts too
Make sure you are connected to the same 2.4Ghz only wifi.

Temperature reading is really not accurate with sudden temperature changes. I was measuring in the fridge and it took more than an hour with 10min reading for the device to start showing room temp.

      • I created a 2.4Ghz guest network but that didn't work. Not sure this thing is worth messing with my main mesh network.

  • Hi OP - any deals on these coming up?
