Looking to purchase a new laptop & was wondering what the quickest, most suitable laptop would be in any price rate to do some proper video editing & song mixing.
I have an android phone & old Apple & Windows basic laptops. I do prefer windows PC's in general but interested in hearing what options are out there.
Yep sure do, which is why I mentioned all price ranges. Keen on seeing some low budget ones but also the higher ticketed laptops. Trying to compare the difference between them & see if its worth it for me.
Can't really answer that question if there's no price constraint— you can kit out a MacBook (or a PC for that matter) with the fastest CPU, most RAM, most storage etc you can find and just buy that if money is no object to you.
Lets say around the 2-4k mark & ideally would like to avoid Apple, prefer Windows operating systems
Check something along the lines of Dell precision workstation or HP zbook etc. Choose a processor / gpu for your needs. Also check if the video editing tools recommend a GPU.
14" Razer Blade 14 has 7940HS + RTX4070 but 1xM.2 storage slot. Use Thunderbolt/USB4 for more storage. Might be 5k though.
15" Dell XPS 15 has 13700H + RTX4070 and 2xM.2 storage slots. Letdown by not using vapor chamber cooling.
16" Lenovo Yoga Slim Pro 9i has 13905H + RTX4070, 2xM.2 storage slots, mini-LED LCD.
16" ASUS ZenBook Pro 16X OLED has 13905H + RTX4080, 1xM.2 storage slot.
Thats for that, currently I'm looking at the Razer 15 & Dell XPS 15 !
You know how expensive they can get right? Pushing the $9K-10K price range?
