Hungry Jacks Chicken Royale Shrinkflation?

I bought a chicken royale today and it was the thinnest piece of crap I have ever seen. The patty's diameter was also noticeably smaller. Anyone else noticed this? It was so thin that if you were to grab the top and bottom breading layers and put them together, it would be the same thickness as the chicken. Tasted like dust.

I love chicken royales but probably won't be buying another one now.

It will shrink once you eat it :)

Pic of a guy with a big hand who ate 90% of it ;)

      • Don't know why pic took that way. It should be uneaten version and placed against bag of fries to give idea of size.

        • I only thought of taking the photo at the point it was taken

      • I'm just talking about the patty here lol. Look at the thickness

  • The bread is actually the same size it always was. They have secretly doubled the thickness of the chicken inside which gives the appearance of the bread being thinner.

Sorry I meant breading like the coating on the chicken. Bun is definitely the same size.

  • Compare with maccas though that just raises prices up and up. Would rather take HJ solution.

    • The McSpicy chicken patties are very dry. The taste was okay, but was choking half way through eating it.

the old longer royales were better, and when I worked at HJs as a teen, they were the easiest to make and wrap, I hated wrapping ultimate double whoppers lol, the wrapping barely fit

You're fine lad. At least you're not that one ogre-anon from that classic /tv/ thread.
(I will take any excuse to share that hilarious story.)
