Well, now that you know about it, don't complain when you miss it.

People like you need to stop thinking the world revolves around you.

Not everyone visits Ozbargain daily so it's very easy to miss something like this if it's only posted on the day.

And for the millionth time: if you are still struggling to understand how you could possibly live without a free game - use the reminder function.

Nawwww, taking things a bit personally, aren't you. xoxo

Thank sweet baby Jeebus Lawd, Epic deals last for an entire f*ing week, no need to visit OZB daily. But yeah, strong argument

Played and finished this on the switch and really enjoyed it. Great picross / nonogram / pixel puzzles paired with a very Phoenix Wright / Ace Attorney style plot and vibe (they share the same composer, at the very least).

    • More or less what I was going to say!

Played on the Switch. Enjoyed the ridiculous story. I really enjoyed the picross puzzles.

Did you check out the Japanese Mario Picross game in the SNES NSO library? I've been playing it, gotten pretty far. It's fairly easy though you end up with a 20x20 grid in the later levels.

Still think the Pokemon Picross on the 3DS is the best one.

        • Pokemon Picross was fantastic!

I've been working my way through the Picross S games on the Switch (from Jupyter games, I think). Maxes out at 20x30 puzzles.

          • @awaiko: Oh yea that's a good size, thanks for the rec :)

I enjoyed ESO, I just really wish there were OCE servers for it. I found it jarring to play it with the high ping

    • +1

As someone that loved skyrim, how does ESO compare? I viewed a few trailers but it never interested me

      • +1

I played it on launch, but I remember Skyrim still feeling better. I wouldn't pass up playing it for free though if you haven't

  • +7

Base ESO game should really be free at this point. It usually sells for next to nothing in stores (like $9 at EB and that was 4-5 years ago I think).

  • +1

I thought ESO was subscription to play? Does that mean you can get the game, but still need to pay a recurring fee to play?

    • Think they've switched to B2P now. Far as I'm aware it and GW2 are the only ones with that model, the rest are subscription based like WoW and FF14, or F2P.

    • They reverted that in 2015 with the uproar, there's still a version of it where you can do that for bonus stuff but crazy for us to buy for Eu/NA servers

  • Thanks OP, bought 6

  • +2

    Thanks, just got them.
BUT ESO is like a 100GB DL, which in Australia will take like 200 days???
