Any Idea if Adobe Creative Cloud Is Cheaper in Indonesia?

I was reading the price online but not sure how to read the dots.

Yearly price for CC is Rp3.238.080/yr in IDR.

If I read it as Rp3238.080 then it 0.314 AUD.
But, if I read it as Rp3238080 then it is 314 AUD.

Has anyone tried buying from there?
I am confused with their decimal system.

  • Just sign up for a new student account with any e-mail address (can be non-edu) for a year, then cancel it after a year and sign up again for student with a new e-mail address. The yearly cost is $263.88

They don't check if you're a student in the first year, thus you getting student price for the first year only.

For example 3238.080 the decimal indicates its in the thousands. So 1.000 is one thousand IDR, take away the decimal and that leaves you with your conversion rate to AUD.

    3238.080 = 3238080 = 314AUD

    • 314AUD

That's MORE expensive than the Australian student account at like $23 a month here. If you want to save money probably better off looking at Turkey.

      • True. I'll check out Turkey as well.
        Thank you

    • That's expensive. I was confused with 2 decimals in the amount. And, google was 0.314 AUD. LOL

I missed the Lebanon deal for 6-7 AUD for an year.

      • I'm guessing graphic design is a fairly healthy industry in Indonesia if they can charge that much for their students.

The dots will mean the same thing throughout the entire number, it won’t change meaning. In this case, the dot is the same as how we use commas in large numbers, they’ve just reversed the two characters. The second option is correct.

  • +1

    It's the second option.

  • +1

For some reason, Indonesians use . instead of , to separate the thousands so this is read as Rp 3.2 juta (million) or in AUD equivalent of AUD$323 (assuming Rp10k conversion rate per 1AUD)
